This is a document issued by customs authorities at the request of the importer/exporter, which shows the exact tariff classification of their goods and provides the guarantee and security of being dispatched with the correct classification. This tariff classification is valid for any customs administration in the EU for up to three years.
There is an official form to apply for the BTI, which ABQ will complete on your behalf. Importers and exporters requiring a BTI must provide us with a sample/photo of their product or technical documentation, along with the relevant details to be included in the application form.
